Got up at 6:30 after 4 hours sleep.
Finished packing and got some stuff done on the computer.
Bathed, dressed, said good bye to dad - went back in the house (again) for the last check of what I might need.
Finally left home at 11am
Called Hajar to check up on her about her shoulder - she's ok (phew)
Went by Mum to drop off the popcorn.
Got to the gym at 12:30 after MAD traffic.
Worked my flat ass off, bathed and changed (again)
Waiting for Lisa, the passport and the money
Left the gym at 2pm, got to Naomi's and left the car, met Lisa and Steve.
Got to the airport a little early to find out that the plane was delayed an hour - so PIZZA!
Met Auntie B and L, Mum, Fliss and Naomi.
Spent about an hour chatting
Left Naesch (tears), went through customs, making mock sport with the customs officials
Bought alcky and ciggies for the Manchester lot.
Chatted with Mum and Fliss.
Got pissed off with the ground staff of Virgin due to how they treated that old woman (she wasn't that drunk).
Made mock sport with the air stewards
Got seated - plane took off - watched bucket list, must make my own list
Ate a very nondescript meal
Went to sleep.

NOTICE OF THE PROJECT

MAKE TODAY HISTORY

This project by the artist Ingrid Persaud aims to record an ordinary day, Tuesday May 6 2008, in the life of people in Barbados.
If you are in Barbados on May 6 all you do is keep a diary of your day, between 600 -1000 words, and email it to her.

It will function as a time capsule capturing for history what people did on that very normal day – what they wore, what they ate, where they went, what transport they used – just the stuff of a normal day. It is not about recording extraordinary events.

The records will ultimately be available online for all to share. Keep a record of the day and send to:

maketodayhistory@gmail.com

You can email it anytime between 6 and 9 May 2008.

Please tell your family, colleagues and friends.
